Home Ed Acro Class - Mixed Abilities

Our Home Education Acro class is a fun, supportive and inclusive daytime class designed especially for home-educated children. Combining elements of dance, gymnastics and flexibility training, children will develop strength, balance, coordination and confidence while learning exciting acro skills in a safe and encouraging environment. Classes are taught by qualified instructors and are suitable for a range of abilities, with progressions tailored to each child's individual level. As well as developing physical skills, our classes provide a fantastic opportunity for children to socialise, make new friends and build confidence in a relaxed, welcoming setting. Whether your child is completely new to acro or already has experience, they'll be encouraged to progress at their own pace while having lots of fun!

Starz Ballet®️ KS1

Designed for school-aged children from Reception and up, this class is the final stage of our ballet progression pathway. Dancers build on the foundations developed in our younger classes, growing in confidence, technique, and their understanding of ballet. This structured 45-minute class develops posture, balance, coordination, musicality, strength, and flexibility while introducing more advanced ballet movements and challenges. Children are encouraged to think creatively, contribute ideas, and express themselves through movement and choreography. Working independently and as part of a team, dancers develop confidence, communication skills, and a sense of achievement in a fun, positive, and inspiring environment. Uniform is not compulsory; anything comfortable to dance in is perfect. We also offer a beautiful range of tutus and dancewear through our website, and teachers can assist with ballet shoe fittings if required.

Dance Starz - KS1/2 - COMING SOON

Dance Starz is a modern based syllabus with a funky twist covering various aspects of dance including flexibility, team work, choreography and fitness. We use recognisable chart music so has been a big hit with the older children. Designed for school aged and following a structured lesson plan packed full of variety encouraging constant learning and progression. Parents are invited to watch the last class of term when the children are also awarded their Starz Certificates of Achievement.

Through engaging activities, props, and simple ballet movements, children build confidence, coordination, creativity, and social skills, all while having lots of fun! There’s no pressure to be perfect; every child is encouraged to learn at their own pace and celebrate their achievements. Our positive and supportive approach helps little dancers develop independence, self-belief, and a lifelong love of movement. There is no compulsory uniform at Starz; children can wear anything comfortable that they can move freely in. We also offer a beautiful range of dancewear & teachers can assist with fitting ballet shoes.

Children participate independently while parents watch from the side, offering encouragement and support. Using exciting props and creative activities, dancers develop confidence, coordination, and a deeper understanding of ballet. This class is a fantastic stepping stone towards fully independent classes, helping children build important life skills such as listening, following instructions, taking turns, sharing, working with others, and becoming part of a team.
