Starz Ballet®️ KS1/2

Designed for school-aged children from Reception and up, this class is the final stage of our ballet progression pathway. Building on the foundations developed in our younger classes, dancers continue to grow in confidence, skill, and their understanding of ballet. This structured 45-minute class develops technique, posture, balance, coordination, musicality, strength, and flexibility, while introducing more advanced movements and challenges. As dancers progress, they are encouraged to think creatively, contribute ideas, and express themselves through movement and choreography. Working both independently and as part of a team, children develop communication skills, confidence, and a sense of achievement. Following our structured syllabus, dancers are supported and challenged to reach their full potential in a fun, positive, and inspiring environment where a love of dance can flourish.

Introduction to Independent Ballet - COMING SOON

Our Intro to Independent Ballet class is the perfect next step for children who are ready to dance independently while still having the reassurance of their parent or carer nearby. Building on the foundations learned in our Mixed Age classes, dancers begin to focus more on ballet technique while continuing to learn through music, movement, imagination, and fun. Children take part independently while parents watch from the side, helping them build confidence, coordination, and a deeper understanding of ballet. This class is a fantastic stepping stone towards fully independent classes, developing listening skills, teamwork, independence, and self-confidence. Uniform is not compulsory; anything comfortable that allows freedom of movement is perfect. We also offer a beautiful range of dancewear, and teachers can assist with ballet shoe fittings if required.

Mixed Ages Ballet

Our Mixed Age Ballet class is a magical introduction to dance for children aged 6months to 4yrs. Perfect for little ones and siblings to enjoy together, this fun-filled class combines music, movement, imagination, and sensory play in a warm and nurturing environment. Parents and carers join in the adventure, creating precious memories while supporting their child's development. Through engaging activities, props, and simple ballet movements, children build confidence, coordination, creativity, and social skills, all while having lots of fun! There’s no pressure to be perfect; every child is encouraged to learn at their own pace and celebrate their achievements. Our positive and supportive approach helps little dancers develop independence, self-belief, and a lifelong love of movement. There is no compulsory uniform at Starz; children can wear anything comfortable that they can move freely in. We also offer a beautiful range of dancewear & teachers can assist with fitting ballet shoes.

Starz Acro combines the strength and athleticism of acrobatics with the creativity of dance. Perfect for children who love learning new skills, this exciting class develops strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, and confidence in a fun and supportive environment. Following the Starz Acro progression programme, dancers work through structured skill levels, celebrating achievements and building strong foundations safely and progressively. Alongside tumbling skills, children explore choreography, partner work, and teamwork, helping them develop communication skills and self-belief. Whether your child is new to Acro or already loves practising tricks, Starz Acro provides a positive environment where they can challenge themselves, achieve goals, and have fun. Uniform is not compulsory; comfortable clothing suitable for movement is all that's required. We also offer a range of leotards and shorts, just let us know if you'd like to buy!
