Home Ed Acro Class - Mixed Abilities

Our Home Education Acro class is a fun, supportive and inclusive daytime class designed especially for home-educated children. Combining elements of dance, gymnastics and flexibility training, children will develop strength, balance, coordination and confidence while learning exciting acro skills in a safe and encouraging environment. Classes are taught by qualified instructors and are suitable for a range of abilities, with progressions tailored to each child's individual level. As well as developing physical skills, our classes provide a fantastic opportunity for children to socialise, make new friends and build confidence in a relaxed, welcoming setting. Whether your child is completely new to acro or already has experience, they'll be encouraged to progress at their own pace while having lots of fun!

Mixed Ages Ballet - COMING SOON

Our Mixed Age Ballet class is a magical introduction to dance for children aged 6months to 4yrs. Perfect for little ones and siblings to enjoy together, this fun-filled class combines music, movement, imagination, and sensory play in a warm and nurturing environment. Parents and carers join in the adventure, creating precious memories while supporting their child's development. Through engaging activities, props, and simple ballet movements, children build confidence, coordination, creativity, and social skills, all while having lots of fun! There’s no pressure to be perfect; every child is encouraged to learn at their own pace and celebrate their achievements. Our positive and supportive approach helps little dancers develop independence, self-belief, and a lifelong love of movement. There is no compulsory uniform at Starz; children can wear anything comfortable that they can move freely in. We also offer a beautiful range of dancewear & teachers can assist with fitting ballet shoes.

Introduction to Independent Ballet

Our Intro to Independent Ballet class is the perfect next step for children who are ready to dance independently while still having the reassurance of their parent or carer nearby. Building on the foundations learned in our Mixed Age classes, dancers begin to focus more on ballet technique while continuing to learn through music, movement, imagination, and fun. Children take part independently while parents watch from the side, helping them build confidence, coordination, and a deeper understanding of ballet. This class is a fantastic stepping stone towards fully independent classes, developing listening skills, teamwork, independence, and self-confidence. Uniform is not compulsory; anything comfortable that allows freedom of movement is perfect. We also offer a beautiful range of dancewear, and teachers can assist with ballet shoe fittings if required.
