Starz Acro combines the strength and athleticism of acrobatics with the creativity of dance. Perfect for children who love learning new skills, this exciting class develops strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, and confidence in a fun and supportive environment. Following the Starz Acro progression programme, dancers work through structured skill levels, celebrating achievements and building strong foundations safely and progressively. Alongside tumbling skills, children explore choreography, partner work, and teamwork, helping them develop communication skills and self-belief. Whether your child is new to Acro or already loves practising tricks, Starz Acro provides a positive environment where they can challenge themselves, achieve goals, and have fun. Uniform is not compulsory; comfortable clothing suitable for movement is all that's required. We also offer a range of leotards and shorts, just let us know if you'd like to buy!

Starz Ballet®️ KS2 - COMING SOON

Designed for children in Key Stage 2, this class is the final stage of our ballet progression pathway. Building on the foundations developed in our younger classes, dancers continue to develop their confidence, technique, and understanding of ballet. This structured 45-minute class focuses on posture, balance, coordination, musicality, strength, flexibility, and more advanced ballet movements. Dancers are encouraged to think creatively, contribute ideas, and express themselves through movement and choreography. Working independently and as part of a team, children develop confidence, communication skills, and a sense of achievement. Following our structured syllabus, dancers are supported and challenged to reach their full potential in a fun, positive, and inspiring environment. Uniform is not compulsory; anything comfortable to dance in is perfect. We also offer a beautiful range of tutus and dancewear through our website, and teachers can assist with ballet shoe fittings if required.

Dance Starz - KS2

Dance Starz is a fun, energetic class for children who love to move, perform, and express themselves through dance. Combining contemporary, street, and jazz-inspired styles, classes are packed with exciting choreography set to popular chart music. Dancers develop musicality, coordination, flexibility, fitness, confidence, and teamwork while learning fun and engaging routines. Creativity is encouraged throughout, giving children opportunities to explore movement, contribute ideas, and develop their own choreographic skills. Whether your child is new to dance or already loves performing, Dance Starz provides a supportive environment where they can make friends, build confidence, and develop a lifelong love of dance. This class is exclusively for pupils attending Alverstoke Infant School. Uniform is not compulsory; leggings and a t-shirt or school PE kit are perfect for class. We also offer personalised Dance Starz t-shirts and jazz shoes, just let us know if you'd like to buy!
