Dancers will begin to work on focussing their technique and sounds to create rhythms and performances to different pieces of music. This class is suitable as an introduction to tap dance for older dancers. Although no tap experience is required, previous dance or rhythm experience is helpful.
45 minute engaging sessions based around letters sounds. Each class focuses in on pronunciation of sounds, listening skills, early speech and language, developing communication and extending vocabulary. This is encouraged through play-based activities and exploration and enhanced through music, props, bubbles, instruments and sensory play.

Ability dependent: A combined class of Dance, Singing and Drama. Your Dancer will continue their training, focussing their strength, flexibility, performance and musicality. Aiming to perfect their technique whilst enjoying a love for Musical Theatre. This class requires previous dance experience. The teacher may request you to attend private lessons or build experience and knowledge in the Intermediate class first. Dancers are required to take an additional class of tap, ballet, street, contemporary or lyrical to assist progression. This class is suitable for those in secondary school.
Teacher - Jaz Contemporary A combination of creativity and technique. Enjoy the freedom of moving and developing skills. Contemporary dance is excellent for developing movement quality and provides a very strong foundation.

SDA's recreational classes are designed for children aged 16 months and up. Our sessions offer a fantastic way for kids to stay active, learn exciting routines, and make new friends in a lively and enjoyable environment. With gorgeous decor, a baby change, pram parking, and located in the heart of the town centre, it has everything we need. After class you can take advantage of the many, cafes, bakeries and shops. Camp notes Zombies and Descendants MASH UP! - age 4+ Our three-day Zombies and Descendants MASH UP! dance Camp is filled with dance, creativity, and fun. Dancers learn fun choreography, watch excerpts of the movies, learn film choreography, and take part in themed games and activities. Cancellations: A 50% refund is available 21 days before the workshop start date, after this date workshops are non refundable. Please understand we are a small business and costs must be covered. We have an hour scheduled for lunch. During this time children will be allowed to go to the park next door with an SDA member of staff. ⏰️Time keeping: Please ensure you are on time, ideally arrive no more then 10 minutes before start time. Teacher - Maddy Ballet Technique: A class designed to take alongside one of our regular ballet classes. We focus on technique and artistry following the Royal Ballet ATAP programme. Students gain a greater understanding of technique, performance skills, as well as learning about choreography and studying ballets like Alice in Wonderland, Swan Lake and many more.
A ballet class for those with previous dance experience. This class builds on current dance knowledge, stregnth and technique. Teacher - Jaz Acro Acro is dance based gymnastics. Students will start with the basics and then build from that foundation. This class is perfect for children who cartwheel everywhere! It strengthens, increases flexibility and fitness!
Teacher - Jaz Competition Team If your child enjoys performing and would love to work on these skills, the comp team might be a perfect fit. Learn to work as a team in a creative and supportive environment. 1 lesson per week - students learn routines and prepare for competitions and performance events. Usually 2/3 events per term. The team is a year long commitment. Students must do at least 3 classes in addition to the team lessons. This class is an invitation only if you are interested please speak to us.
