The combined Jazz and Acrobatics classis for dancers wishing to take their dance further. Skills learnt in previous classes are developed in detail. Dancers attend multiple styles to aid progression, technique, flexibility and performance. Dancers will develop skills: kicks, leaps, pirouettes, bridges, walk overs, limbers, handstands, round offs, ariels and back handsprings This class requires previous dance experience. The teacher may request you to take private lessons to help catch up. Dancers are required to take an additional class of , musical theatre, ballet, street, contemporary or lyrical to assist progression. This class is suitable for those in secondary school

In addition to building strong solid technical foundations to enable a successful strong dancer for the future. Pointe: Please speak with your ballet teacher before joining this class. Pointe is for students that do at least 2 ballet classes a week and are physically and mentally ready for the class. We slowly develop and build pointe skills making sure students have a very solid foundation and understanding of the technique. Students must do a demi pointe class first before joining a pointe class.

Teacher - Esme Performance Team An opportunity for those who enjoy performing and want to develop those skills. When jazzy j's is asked to do a performance Students doing the performance team are our go to class. We focus on at least 2 routines for the year and take part in Xmas light switch on's, summer carnivals and much more. Students wishing to take part must do a minimum of 3 classes a week. This is also a great pathway and training for students wanting to be on the competition team but are not quite ready yet.

SDA's recreational classes are designed for children aged 16 months and up. Our sessions offer a fantastic way for kids to stay active, learn exciting routines, and make new friends in a lively and enjoyable environment. Join as many classes as you wish, switch them each half term, and experience the joy of dance without any extra commitments. It’s all about having fun while keeping fit! Our sessions combine elements of acrobatics, gymnastics and tumbling to create a fun, high-energy environment where children can grow in both skill and confidence.
