Our Beginner Acro class is perfect for children aged 4-9 years who are new to acro or building their foundation skills. In a fun, supportive and structured environment, students will learn key acronyms basics including cartwheels, forward rolls, bridges and handstands. Alongside skills, we focus on developing strength, flexibility, coordination and body control - essential for safe and confident progression in acro. All children are continually assessed within class to ensure they are placed in the correct level for their ability and progress at a pace that suits them. Melody Bear Ballet & Tap

Our Melody Bear classes are the perfect introduction to the magical world of dance for your little one. Designed especially for pre-school children, these fun and engaging sessions combine ballet and tap in a playful, nurturing environment. Using music, storytelling, and the much-loved Melody Bear character, children will explore movement, rhythm and imagination while developing coordination, balance, and confidence. Each class is carefully structured to support early learning through dance, helping to build social skills and independence along the way. This class is ideal for little dancers taking their very first steps into dance, with plenty of smiles, creativity and encouragement throughout. Our Grade 2 Tap class is perfect for children aged approx 9-12yrs who want to develop their tap technique, rhythm and performance skills in a fun and encouraging environment. Students build on their tap technique, timing, coordination, musicality and travelling combinations, while building confidence and performance quality each week. Classes are energetic and engaging, helping children improve technique while enjoying dancing. We follow the IDTA syllabus and students may work towards dance exams when they are ready, giving them goals to work towards and helping them progress through the grades. Children are supported to develop at their own pace in a positive class atmosphere whilst making friends and growing in confidence.

Grade 5 Ballet Pointe Class

Our Pointe Class is designed for dancers aged 12+ who are in the grade 5 ballet class who have demonstrated strong technical ability, control and progression in their ballet training. Students are carefully assessed by our teachers in both their regular ballet classes and pre-pointe training to ensure they are physically ready and strong enough to begin pointe work safely. This class focuses on building solid foundations, starting with essential exercises at the barre such as rises, strengthening and alignment work. As students develop confidence, strength and technique, they will gradually progress onto more advanced pointe exercises and combinations. Safety and correct technique are at the heart of this class, with a strong emphasis on developing strength, control and artistry to support each dancer's progression onto pointe.

Our Pre-Pointe Class is designed for dancers aged 10+ who are beginning their journey towards dancing en pointe. This class is suitable for students who have developed a good foundation in ballet technique and are ready to start building the strength, control, and alignment needed for pointe work. Dancers work in soft block ballet shoes and focus on exercises to strengthen the feet, ankles, legs and core, whilst improving posture, balance and overall ballet technique. This class helps prepare students safely and correctly for progression into pointe shoes in the future. Students are carefully assessed by our teachers to ensure they are physically ready for pre-pointe training and are progressing at the right pace for their individual development.

Our Intermediate Acro class is designed for children aged approximately 9-12yrs, however, placement is also ability-based, so some younger or older students may be better suited to this level. In this class, students continue developing their acro technique whilst building strength, flexibility and conditioning. Dancers work on progressing skills such as balances, limbers, walkovers, handstands, cartwheels and partner work, whilst improving control, coordination and confidence. Classes are fun, challenging and supportive, with students encouraged to progress safely at their own pace under the guidance of our experienced and qualified teaching team. Children are assessed regularly to ensure they are in the most suitable class for their ability and progression.

Advanced IDTA Ballet

Our Advanced IDTA Ballet class is designed for experienced dancers aged approximately 14yrs + who are working towards this vocational level in their ballet training. This class focuses on developing strong classical technique, artistry, musicality, strength and performance quality in line with the IDTA Syllabus. Students will continue to progress their ballet vocabulary through barre work, centre practice, adage, pirouettes, allegro and travelling sequences, while building the technical standard required for vocational examinations and advanced dance training. Pointe work exercises are included within the advanced syllabus, therefore this class is not suitable for beginners or children who are new to ballet training. Students are assessed by out teachers to ensure they are working at the correct level are physically ready for the demands of the class. This class is ideal for dedicated ballet students looking to further their technique, confidence and performance skills.
