Modern B is an exciting modern dance class for children aged approx. 8-11yrs who are ready to further develop their modern jazz technique and performance skills. Dancers will continue building on the foundations of modern dance while progressing their flexibility, strength, coordination and musicality. Classes include learning kicks, leaps, turns, travelling steps and combinations, alongside developing style, expression and confidence, all to fun and upbeat music. Our supportive teachers encourage every dancer to grow technically while enjoying the energy and creativity of the class.

Intermediate IDTA Ballet

Our Intermediate IDTA Ballet class is designed for experienced dancers aged approximately 13yrs + who are working towards this vocational level in their ballet training. This class focuses on developing strong classical technique, artistry, musicality, strength and performance quality in line with the IDTA Syllabus. Students will continue to progress their ballet vocabulary through barre work, centre practice, adage, pirouettes, allegro and travelling sequences, while building the technical standard required for vocational examinations and advanced dance training. Pointe work exercises are included within the intermediate syllabus, therefore this class is not suitable for beginners or children who are new to ballet training. Students are assessed by out teachers to ensure they are working at the correct level are physically ready for the demands of the class. This class is ideal for dedicated ballet students looking to further their technique, confidence and performance skills.

Our commercial class is a high-energy, performance-based class for dancers aged 11+ who love to dance with confidence, style and attitude. Inspired by music videos, live performances and commercial artists, dancers will learn fun, dynamic choreography whilst developing performance quality, musicality, coordination and stage presence. Classes include elements of commercial jazz, street dance and performance technique, helping students build confidence and versatility in a supportive and encouraging environment. Dancers will work on routines, style, precision and expressive performance skills whilst dancing to current, age-appropriate music. The class is suitable for dancers with previous experience, and students may be assessed to ensure they are placed in the most suitable class for their age and ability.

Mini Troupe

Our Mini Troupe class is an invite-only programme designed for young dancers aged 4–7 years who have demonstrated outstanding potential, commitment and enthusiasm within their regular classes. This class is for dancers selected to join the Danceforce Competition Team , where they will receive more focused training to help develop their technique, performance quality and confidence in a supportive and encouraging environment. Throughout the year, dancers will work on: Competition troupe routines Solo and duet/trio performance skills (where appropriate) Technical development Musicality, artistry and stage presence Building confidence and teamwork Eligibility To be a member of Mini Troupe, dancers must also attend Ballet, Tap and Modern classes , as these styles provide the essential technical foundation needed for competition work. Our Pointe Class is designed for dancers aged 12+ who are in intermediate or advanced ballet who have demonstrated strong technical ability, control and progression in their ballet training. Students are carefully assessed by our teachers in both their regular ballet classes and pre-pointe training to ensure they are physically ready and strong enough to begin pointe work safely. This class focuses on building solid foundations, starting with essential exercises at the barre such as rises, strengthening and alignment work. As students develop confidence, strength and technique, they will gradually progress onto more advanced pointe exercises and combinations. Safety and correct technique are at the heart of this class, with a strong emphasis on developing strength, control and artistry to support each dancer's progression onto pointe.
