Modern D is a dynamic modern dance class for dancers aged approx 13-21 yrs who are looking to further progress their modern jazz technique, strength and performance quality. Classes focus on developing more advanced kicks, leaps, turns, flexibility and travelling sequences, while improving control, stamina and style. Dancers will work on performance skills, musicality and confidence through energetic routines and combinations set to fun, upbeat music. This class encourages students to challenge themselves technically while continuing to grow as versatile performers in a supportive and motivating environment.

Boogie Beat Music and Movement workshops are fun, interactive and energetic. Your child will get the opportunity to explore instruments, dance and sing. We go on many adventures based on traditional tales and favourite themes. Giggles the Monkey helps us learn and explore every week, helping us to build confidence and sense of self and get creative! For attendees of this nursery only, your child cannot attend if they are not registered at this nursery. Our nominated charity for 2026 is Team Jak ( https://www.teamjak.org.uk/about-jaks-den), 20p from every ticket sold is donated to this charity to support the amazing work they do "Team Jak Foundation provides practical, social and emotional support to children and young people age 0-25 with cancer and related illnesses, their family, friends and those bereaved."
Founded in February 2001 as the 'Lavender Hill Mob Drama Club', we later decided that, because we offered more than just drama, it was necessary to rebrand ourselves as the 'Lavender Hill Mob Theatre Company'. As a team we are highly committed to providing an outstanding service to the community and all involved within the Company.
My son, Perry, has Down Syndrome. He has been a member of the Lavender Hill Mob Theatre Company for many years. Before he joined, he was very shy and his speech was limited. Now, he is doing speaking parts in the shows. He has also learned many songs and dances; he is quite a celebrity in Hunstanton! He is often stopped and told by people how much they enjoyed watching him in the shows. He may not often be seen, but is definitely heard! He is also very popular with the other members of the LHMTC and has many friends because of the LHMTC. Perry is also a member of the LHMTC Youth Forum and has his own page in the Newsletter and has taken many photos with his own camera to go on this page. Perry writes underneath each photo, the name of each animal or person he has taken, so his writing has improved greatly compared to what it was. He tries so hard, so everyone can understand what he has written. He has now become a young man with lots of confidence and purpose. Without the Lavender Hill Mob Theatre Company, Perry would be lost; it has changed his life completely. He is now part of a group and not somebody different.
Camp notes Our five-day Moana Show in a Week is a magical theatre experience where dancers learn routines, sing, and bring the story to life. With scripts provided and groups split into junior and senior sections, the week builds to a spectacular showcase at SDA on Friday at 2:30pm 1 ticket per child is included in the cost, extra tickets available to purchase. Cancellations: A 50% refund is available 21 days before the workshop start date, after this date workshops are non refundable. Please understand we are a small business and costs must be covered. We have an hour scheduled for lunch. During this time children will be allowed to go to the park next door with an SDA member of staff ⏰️Time keeping: Please ensure you are on time, ideally arrive no more then 10 minutes before start time.
