🩰 Ballet Ballet is the foundation of all dance styles and is at the heart of our training at Studio Seventeen. Students will develop beautiful technique, posture, strength, flexibility and musicality while learning to perform with elegance, discipline and artistry. 🌈 Tiny Performers (Pre-School) Our Tiny Performers classes are the perfect introduction to the magical world of dance and performing arts. Through music, movement, imagination and creative play, little ones begin to build confidence, coordination and a love of movement in a fun, nurturing environment. Every class is designed to spark curiosity and creativity while supporting children's physical, social and emotional development. Most importantly, we want every child to leave with a huge smile and excitement to come back next week. Who is this class for? Children aged 3–4 years who are ready to explore movement, music and imagination in a warm, welcoming environment. 🩰 Core Training Programme (Years 4–6) The Core Training Programme is an exciting stage in every dancer's journey, where students begin dedicated training in Ballet, Modern Jazz and Tap , with each discipline taught as a separate class. Students are grouped into Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 classes, allowing lessons to be tailored to their age and stage of development, helping every dancer build confidence, refine technique and reach their full potential. Throughout the year, students work towards our Annual Trophy Exercises , celebrating their progress while setting inspiring goals for continued growth. Who is this programme for? Students in Years 4–6 who are ready to develop their technical training while growing as confident, versatile performers. Students will develop: Strong Ballet, Modern Jazz and Tap technique Musicality, coordination and rhythm Strength, flexibility and control Performance skills and artistry Confidence, resilience and discipline A lifelong love of dance and performing arts

Core Training Programme (Year 4)

💪 Stretch & Conditioning Our Stretch & Conditioning classes are designed to support every dancer's development by improving strength, flexibility, stamina and overall physical fitness. Through targeted exercises, students build the control and body awareness needed to dance safely, confidently and to the best of their ability. This class provides the foundations for strong, healthy dancers and helps reduce the risk of injury while supporting progress across all dance styles. Who is this class for? Any student looking to improve their flexibility, strength, technique and overall dance performance. Stretch & Conditioning is a compulsory class for students wishing to study Ballet or Modern Jazz, as it provides the essential strength, flexibility and conditioning needed to support safe and effective training. Audition Academy Designed for dedicated dancers with ambition, Audition Academy provides specialist training for students wishing to pursue vocational dance training, performing arts colleges, associate programmes and professional opportunities. Through focused technical coaching, audition preparation, performance experience, guest industry professionals and personalised mentoring, students are supported to develop the confidence, resilience and skills needed to reach their full potential. ⭐ Dance Foundations (Reception–Year 3) Build – Moving on from our Tiny Performers programme, Dance Foundations introduces students to more structured dance training in Ballet, Modern Jazz and Tap . At this stage, children develop strong technical foundations, coordination, musicality and confidence while continuing to discover a love of dance in a fun, supportive and encouraging environment. Students are taught in Reception & Year 1 and Year 2 & Year 3 groups, allowing each child to progress at an age-appropriate pace.
