Jenny Wren Productions is a Gloucestershire-based professional theatre company, formed in 2004. In the summer we can be found performing classic plays under the stars at open-air venues around the county, including Berkeley Castle, Cowley Manor and Highnam Court near Gloucester. The autumn usually takes us on another tour, often with a new play, to small theatres and rural venues. We have strong links with the Cheltenham Everyman Theatre and perform there regularly. We have toured schools, libraries and care homes with Theatre in Education projects, incorporating educational workshops, and in 2020, we adapted! We created radio drama and an online play - but we are looking forward to creating live shows again later in 2021 :) The company comprises a pool of actors, musicians, designers, stage managers, producer and director. Many of our projects have been funded by Arts Council England and with others we have raised money for charities including the Pied Piper Appeal at Gloucester Hospital and the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. And whilst doing all of this, we have a lot of fun!
