The Parent Hood of Harlow runs a community hub where children and their grown-ups can meet, play and learn. We host a variety of regular activities run by local women such as baby signing, pregnancy yoga, dance classes, antenatal & postnatal support, coffee mornings and members-only movie clubs. The venue can be hired at the weekends for private events subject to availability and is used for our very own seasonal events.

Mothers Moving postnatal yoga classes are designed to rebuild strength in areas of the body that may have been weakened, and offer release in areas that may be feeling tense. Our yoga class offers a safe space to let go of some of the mental load that comes with having a young baby while reaping the physical benefits too! With a community feel we will encourage social connections to be made with your classmates - that's why social time will be incorporated after the class. Pre-walking babies are welcome - toys will be provided to keep them entertained. Please book under the ADULT'S NAME. Mats will be provided so just ensure you are wearing comfortable clothing. Thanks to funding from SPORT ENGLAND and supported by ACTIVE ESSEX we are able to offer these sessions at low cost. For the sustainability of The Parent Hood, we have set a very low price for these sessions however if you are experiencing financial struggles we do not want you to miss out. Please get in touch if this is the case.
