Our Tots ballet class is for children aged 2.5 to 3.5 years with their parent/carer. Introductory ballet is for children aged 3 years to 4 years, coming into class on their own.

Lyrical Contemporary Dance
13 - 16yrs We offer a mixed ability Lyrical Contemporary class. It’s technical similarities are often perceived as being closely related to Modern Dance and Ballet developed during the mid-twentieth century. Ballet Grades 1 to 3
7.5-12yrs These classes follow the RAD Grade 1 – 3 ballet syllabus & prepare the children for an examination or class award. This syllabus was updated recently and now allows the students to dance to recorded orchestral music and it is inspiring in its approach. It follows a set pattern which shows a natural progression from one grade to another, building on the exercises learnt in the previous grade. It’s focus is on a strong technique as a solid foundation to work from. It introduces a freedom of movement & expression that will help with the child’s performance skills by learning individual dances with their own style of pure classical, contemporary based, stylised & character.
5 years – 12 years
Pre-Primary I Ballet and Pre-Primary II Ballet
4 - 6yrs Our Pre-Primary I and II classes build on the skills learnt in Introductory ballet. These structured classes continue to develop their skills using a wide range of movements, musical styles & props. Students will start with training exercises needed for the Pre-Primary syllabus. The students will work together towards their Pre-Primary class award. VIEW TIMETABLE CONTACT
4 years – 6 years
Intermediate Foundation Ballet and Intermediate Ballet
12 - 16yrs Invitation only classes. Intermediate Foundation is an optional exam and is good preparation for the Intermediate Vocational grade exam. The Vocational Graded syllabus develops students’ technique and performance skills. Pointe work is examined for female students. The syllabus has been designed to give the necessary training to students wishing to study seriously with a possible view to following a career in dance. The syllabus can also be studied by students who do not wish to pursue a dance-related career.
12 years – 16 years
Ballet Grades 4 and 5
12-15yrs These classes continue the RAD Grade 4 – 5 ballet syllabus & prepare the children for an examination or class award. This is the latest syllabus to be updated and continues to allow the students to dance to recorded orchestral music, which is both inspiring in its variety & challenging to the dancer. Again, it follows a set pattern which shows a natural progression from the other grades, building on the exercises already learnt. It continues to focus on a strong technique, introducing a mature approach to the student’s training. The individual dances give the student the chance to show off with their own style of dance with either, pure classical, contemporary based, stylised & character choices.
12 years – 15 years
Pre-Vocational ballet
10 - 13yrs Invitation only class. A non-syllabus class specifically designed for students who are may be suited to the study of the Vocational grades. The class will develop their technique and strength as preparation for the Intermediate Foundation class. This class is taken alongside their usual ballet grade class.
