The Gosforth Kumon Centre is located in the Parish Centre behind St Charles Parish Church on Church Road, NE3 1TX. There is ample free parking. The Kumon Gosforth Study Centre is thriving and well established. Children can build confidence and develop their academic skills in this environment. The centre runs from two locations both of which offer free parking. The unique strength of the Kumon Programme in both Maths and English is the development of self-learning. Through daily study and the guidance of the Kumon Instructor children are able to attain high academic levels built on strong foundations. Children and young people also develop study skills such as confidence, resilience, focus and time management. At the Kumon Gosforth Study Centre there are over 120 students ranging from three to 16. Almost half the students are studying at advanced levels. The students are supported in class by a team of assistants, many of whom have studied the Kumon programmes.
