RAD Ballet Classes in York for Children

En Pointe provides Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) ballet classes in York for children and young people of different ages and abilities. Our qualified and experienced teachers combine structured classical ballet training with imaginative, enjoyable classes that develop confidence, coordination, musicality and strong technique. Dancers can progress through the internationally recognised RAD syllabus, with opportunities to take examinations, develop through technique and pointe classes, and perform in our annual production at York’s Joseph Rowntree Theatre. Students are welcome whether they want an enjoyable weekly class or hope to progress towards advanced and pre-vocational dance training. New dancers can begin with a trial class to discover the most suitable level.
