Each week your children will have the chance to work with professional theatre artists to sing, dance and act at our reduced schools price. Participation in drama, dance and singing helps children to grow in confidence, improve their literacy and speaking skills, improve concentration and grow in creativity. Children who participate in the classes have lots of fun each week playing drama games, dancing, singing and being creative. Children participate in an end of term showing.

Children who participate in the classes have lots of fun each week, focusing on different artists, periods, and techniques, with age appropriate activities.

We are confident that your child will benefit from these classes, as participating in drama and performing arts has been shown to support children in the following ways: • Improved speech and language skills • Increased confidence • Enhanced creativity and problem solving skills • Improved wellbeing • Greater engagement with learning and academic progress LAMDA stands for the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. These exams support the development of clear speech, communication and performance skills. Children will have the opportunity to be entered for optional LAMDA examinations each term and will receive a certificate upon completion. Students progress through the grades over time, with higher level qualifications contributing towards UCAS points for university entry.
