At Holybourne Youth Theatre, we run affordable drama workshops for children of all ages and abilities, with a strong focus on acting , supported by singing and dancing to help bring performances to life. Our sessions build confidence, encourage teamwork, and spark creativity – and most importantly, they are fun. Each Saturday, members take part in engaging workshops where they develop their skills, make friends, and grow in confidence. Workshops are facilitated in a relaxed, supportive environment where every child has the freedom to explore performance at their own pace. Alongside these activities, we dedicate a term to working towards a fully staged play . Rehearsals form part of the weekly sessions, giving every child the opportunity to be involved – whether in chorus and speaking roles, or behind the scenes in lighting, props, and stage management.
