Grade Five Ballet

Age 12- 15 Our grade five ballet class takes our dancers on an exciting step forward as they begin grand allegro, explore fuller adage sequences, and are introduced to the elegance of pointe work. This class continues to develop their artistry, expression, and stage presence, while refining technical skill. With the option to work towards their Grade Five exam, students are challenged, inspired, and supported every step of the way. Monday - 7.00 - 7.45pm Wednesday - 7.30 - 8.15pm Fees: £21.46 per month

Pre-School Baby Ballet Classes

Age 2-4 Our pre-school classes are aimed at children age 3+ years. These classes have an emphasis on creativity, expression and fun. We use props to explore different types of dance and characters using our imagination. Our 30 minutes class will keep them engaged and excited.
2 years – 4 years
Junior Jazz Class

Age 10-14 This class has been designed for those not wanting to work towards any exams. Incorporating fun, high pace, energetic dance routines this class is perfect for those children with a passion for dancing and performance. Dancing to a variety of different styles of music our students explore various jazz styles from commercial, hip hop and more classical styles of jazz Thursday - 6.45 - 7.30pm Fees: £21.46 per month
10 years – 14 years
Grade One Ballet

Age 8-9 Our grade one ballet class is suitable for those who have progressed through our primary class or who are joining us from year 3. This class builds on the foundations previous learnt and progresses our students through the ISTD syllabus. Now using the French terminology, grade one ballet improves our students technique, posture, alignment and style. At this level students are encouraged to attend 2 classes per week. Students have the opportunity to work towards their exam.
8 years – 9 years
Pre-Primary Ballet Class

Age 5-6 Once children start school, they enter our syllabus base classes in ballet. At KDA we follow the ISTD syllabus which is recognised world-wide. Our pre-primary class builds on our early learning in Baby Ballet, where we explore movement through creativity, imagination and storytelling. This class is perfect for reception age children to start to build the foundations of ballet Wednesday - 4.15 - 4.45pm Fees: £19.31 per month
5 years – 6 years
Primary Ballet Class

Age 6-7 Our Primary Ballet class is suitable for children who have either progressed through pre-primary ballet or who are joining us once they are 6 years old. Here we build on our ballet technique again following the ISTD syllabus. At this level students have the option to work towards exams.

Junior Musical Theatre

Age 11 - 14 Our Musical Theatre classes are a mixture of both singing and dancing. Students will be guided through a variety of singing warm-ups and physical warm ups before focusing on combining both skills in various song and dance from Westend, Broadway and film. Thursday - 6.00 - 6.45pm Fees: £21.46 per month

Grade Two Ballet

Age 9-12 Students in grade two ballet will now know the foundation steps and have a good understanding of classical technique. This class is open to all new students from year 4 upwards. Developing classical technique, students are encouraged to attend 2 classes per week. Students can work towards their exam.
9 years – 12 years
Grade Four Ballet

Age 11 - 14 Progressing on from our grade three ballet class, students continue to build on their classical ballet knowledge. We have a more in-depth look at our demi point work and introduce the start of our petit batterie work at this level. Monday - 7.00 - 7.45pm Wednesday - 5.15 - 6.00pm Fees: £21.46 per month
