October Half-Term Camp - Halloween Science! Week B

Halloween Science is a spooky 5-day science adventure packed with 40+ hands-on activities, exciting experiments, demos, team games, quizzes and outdoor activity breaks. Children will explore creepy, creative and curious science through a range of Halloween-themed sessions. Activities include making a blood model to discover what blood is made from, building brains and skeletons to learn about the human body, creating flying brooms and bats to explore forces and flight, and making dancing Frankenworms using chemistry. Children will also investigate eerie eruptions, spooky slime, lava-lamp witch’s cauldrons, dry ice demonstrations and optical illusions. The week also includes pumpkin life cycles, spider webs, haunted house building, bone hand models, viral petri dish sweets and plenty of fun challenges designed to bring science to life in a spooky, hands-on way.

Partnering with London’s leading schools and private venues, we have made it our mission to help all pupils immediately start to catch-up on STEM enrichment this school holidays. per class, and we run a tried-and-tested ‘mixed age dynamic’ of ages 5-12. There are two DBS checked instructors who work with the younger children on the making and key scientific concepts, while challenging the older children with more advanced science and giving them more responsibility. All our activities are risk-assessed. Camps run for 5-days a week (excluding UK bank holidays), Mon-Fri and we have 4 indoor ‘classroom science sessions’ and 3 outdoor ‘activity play-breaks’ per day, where the children mix, play and bond socially together.
