Home Education Family Group Escot
A family group for home educating families in the woods. Our Home Education Family Group is for home educating families to attend with their younger children before they are old enough for our all day sessions. Whilst the majority of attendees tend to be under 7, older siblings are welcome to come as well. This is a fantastic opportunity to meet other home educating families and to have some fun in the woods, exploring our beautiful grounds and getting some dedicated time for child-led play and forest school activities. Each session involves fire lighting, a led activity (such as bird feeder making, woodwork, team games, campfire cooking and more!), hot chocolate and plenty of time for exploration and fun in the woods! 1 ADDITIONAL ADULT CAN ATTEND WITH THIS BOOKING.

The Outdoors Group is an outdoor education company based in Devon. We run Forest School sessions from four sites at Exmouth, Escot, Okehampton and Totnes for children aged 0-16 as well as adult training at our Exmouth site. We are passionate about play and giving children the space and opportunity to follow their own interests and lines of curiosity during their time with us. No two sessions look the same, but activities might include woodworking, campfire cooking, nature discovery, fire-lighting, games and outdoor crafts.
