Highbury Youth Theatre re-commenced in September 2024, for young people aged between 11 and 18 who were interested in theatre. In its first year, it ran for three terms, with an opportunity for Highbury audiences to see what the Youth Theatre had been working on at the end of each term. Year two culminated in four successful performances of The Jungle Book.
The Youth Theatre will be running for its third year on Tuesday evenings from 15 September 2026, excluding schools and public holidays. They’ll be working on a full length production, to be presented in July 2027.

Highbury Youth Theatre
15 September @ 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm Highbury Youth Theatre is for young people aged between 11 and 18 years old who are passionate about theatre and learning more about stage craft and performance. We’ll be meeting every Tuesday evening during school term times. Come along to the first session of the new year on Tuesday 15 September at 7:30pm in the Harlequin Suite at the rear of the theatre. There’s no need to book. We’ll be working on a showcase event to be performed 26 & 27 November and a full length production to run from 8 – 10 July 2027.
