Dance For Infants and Juniors

For younger children, we offer Drama and Movement classes. We often use characters or themes from stories or pictures to inspire the children to create movement and dance. Children learn new techniques, how to sequence and they also develop their sense of rhythm and musicality whilst having an enormous amount of fun! These exciting dance classes are led by our inspiring professionals who encourage each student to develop their dance skills at their own pace and create fabulous dances to be proud of. With regular opportunities of sharing work to parents and siblings in our end of term Showcases and in our big shows children develop their confidence. Previous members of our Youth Dance Company have gone on to study dance on the CAT scheme at Laban and at The Place in London. Several of our previous students have gained places in the elite National Youth Dance Company based at Sadlers Wells. One of our previous students is currently touring Swan Lake internationally with the Irish choreographer, Micheal Keegan-Dolan. Junior Drama & Movement

We offer several Junior Drama classes in and around Lewes. These popular classes will help develop important social skills for life. Children explore characters, themes and new theatrical techniques while learning how to gain more control over their physicality and voice as they go. Children have a chance to perform in our frequent show cases and our big shows in Lewes. Kaleidoscope children tend to stand out from the crowd by being more personable, more self assured and more articulate in conversation. We work on a different theme each term. Some examples of previous topics include: Witches, Wizards and Magical Mayhem, The Fire Children, (an African tale), The Tale of Jack Frost and The Iron Man.
