Preschool & Reception Classes Preschool dance movement and reception ballet are designed as an introduction to movement, mime and music. Our principle aim is to nurture and encourage your child�s innate sense of movement and musical awareness, aiming to develop coordination, confidence and a sense of belonging. During these classes there is a huge emphasis on enjoyment and creativity. We hope that towards the end of this early introduction to our Academy, your child will feel encouraged and enthusiastic to pursue dance - perhaps taking up Ballet, Modern Theatre or Tap, either purely for enjoyment and social interaction or perhaps to aim towards examinations, moving up the grades, gaining both a sense of purpose and achievement both fundamental for a child�s development. Modern Theatre Faculty

Modern Theatre Faculty This is a rhythmic, highly energetic dance style often seen on stage in musical productions. It is known for its theatrical qualities. The Modern Theatre syllabus combines modern dance, jazz and other dance styles. A series of examinations has been created from children's grades through to professional teaching qualifications. The children's work is based on natural movements: walking, running, jumping and skipping. It is designed to encourage an imaginative and rapid response from beginners. Boys' work has been developed to meet increasing demand for a modern dance training for boys.
