I enjoyed working as a teacher however my son has medical conditions which required me to take a lot of time out of teaching to travel with him to Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital in London, or just to be home to care for him. Due to this, as well as wanting to ensure my daughter had me around I made the tough decision to leave the career I worked so hard for, which turned out to be the best decision I could have made.
