Fact 1: Keidokwai Judo Club is one of the oldest judo clubs in the UK Fact 2: In the last 10 years it has won more awards than any other North West judo club for coaching. Fact 3: ALL of our coaches are qualified AND certified in First Aid, Child Safeguarding and Protection and all coaches hold a current Advanced DBS (formerly known as a CRB check). Before you or your children start at any martial arts club, always as the following questions of the coaches: 1) Are you affiliated to the National Governing Body? 2) Are your qualifications and certifications for all coaches valid (and can I see these)? 3) Can I please see your DBS certificate? 4) What are the contact details of your club welfare officer? 5) Can I please see your accident book? If you don’t get a positive response to these, it is time to turn around and look for a club that puts its players first.
