The best bit -you get some time back to catch up on work/life, perhaps just some headspace. Over the past 14 years Iona has worked with groups in the outdoors across the world. Most of this has involved leading groups of youngsters up gorges, down rivers and over many hills and bogs. A passionate outdoor educator and parent, she’s now focused on helping the next generation build confidence, skills, and a lasting connection to nature.

Mountain Bike Club Level 2, Old Spey Bridge Road
Do your kids love getting out on their bikes? Would you like them to progress their skills in a safe and supportive environment? Level 2 riders will learn about trail etiquette, they will develop skills and confidence enabling them to ride confidently through low level technical terrain and grow a greater appreciation for the natural environment around them. They will learn to change gears smoothly at the appropriate time and use their brakes effectively and safely. They will work on riding position, balance and control to help when ascending and descending. They will enjoy riding local trails in Anagach. -5 sessions over 4 months -2 hours each session -8 kids max per group -£125 for the block of 5 sessions (£27 for a one off session -if space permits) -Includes a certificate when they have achieved the Level Riders will be working on the GO MTB framework: Riding skills, sharing the outdoors, First aid, Being independent and Self supporting.

Level 2 Block
course
Mountain Bike Club Level 2 PLUS
Level 2 plus builds on the skills learnt in Levels 1 & 2 we will work on balance and control, confidence with gears, controlled braking, trail awareness and general good trial practise. We will play games to work on cornering, cone of movement, add some challenges to help learn about body positing especially when climbing, practice our attack position and riding down hills. We may start to progress into Level 3 territory depending on the riders ability including more cornering, front wheel lifts, rear wheel lifts and more. Riders will be happy to ride easy trails with a few sections of roots and rocks, they don't have to have done level 2 with us but are perhaps looking for a confidence boost. -5 sessions over 4 months -2 hours each session -8 kids max per group -£125 for the block of 5 sessions (£27 for a one off session -if space permits) Riders will be working on the GO MTB framework: Riding skills, sharing the outdoors, First aid, Being independent and Self supporting.

This block booking includes all Friday after school sessions, these start at 12.45 and include school pick up from Grantown Primary. The block also includes the 3 exclusive Wild Ranger sessions which are Friday afterschool, same times, same places but even more exciting, focussed sessions.

Autumn Woodland Adventures
3 days of October adventures, 9.30am to 4pm in the Beachan Woods 21st October - Survival Skills, Beachan Woods 22nd October - Bushcraft Skills, Beachan Woods 23rd October - Travel from Glenbeg to Grantown through the Beachan Woods Children will enjoy exploring the woodlands, practising useful skills and gaining confidence in these skills. There will be plenty of time to play wide games, chill in the hammock and enjoy making new friends too.

Into the Wild -Inset
Into the Wild -Inset days will be run in the Beachan woods above the Industrial estate, your kids will be entertained in the fresh air with other like minded wildlings, they will enjoy a range of activities and the freedom to explore, play games and learn about their natural surroundings. We may go and explore the woods, heading over to a lovely burn for a picnic lunch and a play, we could build swings, make dens, practise our, navigation, work on our bushcraft skills, go bug hunting. The woods will be our playground for the day, kids will be well exercised, make new friends and return home ready for tea, a bath and bed! These days will be slightly shorter than normal to see what uptake is like -your feedback is very welcome, let us know if you would rather a 9.30-4pm days entertainment or if 9.30-1.30 suits you?
