Wokingham Theatre is a thriving community theatre, presenting eight major productions a year, alongside Youth Theatre productions, short runs of experimental productions, evenings of new writing, and a wide range of theatrical skills training and workshops, all in our 160+ seat home at Cantley Park in Wokingham.
We present eight ‘main season’ shows per year each enjoying two-week runs, as well as a number of smaller-scale extras, new writing nights, rehearsed readings, workshops, and our annual Youth Theatre production, all in our own 160+ seat auditorium.

Wokingham Youth Theatre
Wokingham Youth Theatre is a vibrant and dynamic learning and performance space. We are fortunate to be part of Wokingham Theatre, which is a thriving community theatre and the Youth Theatre benefits from being able to teach our students in a working theatre environment. WYT promotes a sense of self-confidence, responsibility and respect. We seek to equip young people with theatre skills in a structured and highly motivated environment. The Youth Theatre is comprised of young people from diverse backgrounds. We offer a supportive environment based on mutual respect and understanding. We admit new students at the beginning of each term. We will invite potential new students to join us for a trial class. Following the trial class, we will discuss with you the suitability of your child to join the group.
Youth Theatre
WYT is a thriving part of our daily theatre life, with classes most days every week and hundreds of young members. We offer drama classes to students from 5-18, perform showcases, and even a main season show each year.
