At Swimrite we believe in small class numbers with a maximum of 6 children per class in our lower grades. Throughout our classes our teachers also in the pool.Here at Swimrite we have created our own unique graded learn to swim scheme that not only gets the youngsters to swim but also builds water confidence as well as other essential water skills. Giving you the parent/carer peace of mind that your child is learning a basic life skill.

Parent and toddler swimming classes

These classes are an ideal way to introduce your child to the water in a fun and exciting way whilst building upon the bond of a parent and child. Through play the toddlers will become confident in the water thus making the transition to the next stage easier to achieve.
Weekly Term Time Learn to Swim Lessons

With our unique grading system Swimrite offers weekly term time quality swimming classes for all abilities, using our unique grading system. Each lesson is 30 minutes in duration with very small class sizes (5 children in our Tots program rising to 6 later in more advanced sessions), this guarantees individual attention for each child. We believe that teaching in a fun and friendly way will ensure the children learn the life saving skill of swimming and progress quickly. At Swimrite we have our own unique grading system running throughout our swimming program. Each grade is aimed to teach children valuable skills which are developed upon further into the program. Through careful planning and experienced knowledge we believe we have created a very comprehensive and skilled program that clearly shows progression in sequenced achievable stages. We operate at a range of venues around the Dudley borough and currently offer weekly term time lessons on: Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.
Swimming Badges and Certificates

Swimrite is proud to have its own grading structure for our swimming lessons. This unique structure has been developed to ensure the children learn the core skills they will need in future life to help keep them safe or to give them a start on the journey to the Olympic podium. Each of our grades has 10 aims or targets that the children need to complete and be secure in. When they display they are secure in these areas, they get awarded the certificate of this Grade and move up to the subsequent graded class. To understand how well your child is progressing in their swimming lessons, at the end of each term you will receive a report from the teacher on how well your child is achieving in each area. In addition to our own grading badges and certificates from our lesson structure, Swimrite also offer distance badges through the asa award scheme. These badges and certificates are endored by the national governing body for swimming as well as the English Schools’ Swimming Association.
