Newport Primary KS2 LAMDA Club
Our 1-hour KS2 LAMDA Club for Years 3–6 at Newport Primary School helps children build confidence, communication and performance skills in a fun, supportive environment. Children choose either the LAMDA Acting or Speaking in Public syllabus, working towards an internationally recognised LAMDA examination each year. Acting students develop and perform a monologue, while Public Speaking students research, write and deliver their own speech with confidence. Through engaging drama activities, voice work and presentation skills, children develop creativity, stage presence, clear communication and self-belief. Whether they enjoy performing or want to become more confident speakers, our club helps every child find their voice. 🏆 We are proud to have a 100% Distinction pass rate in our LAMDA examinations.

Children work towards either the LAMDA Entry Level Acting or Verse & Prose syllabus, preparing for an internationally recognised LAMDA examination each year. Acting students develop a short monologue, while Verse & Prose students learn to perform a poem and a prose extract with expression, clarity and confidence. Through imaginative games, storytelling, voice work and performance activities, children develop clear communication, creativity, stage presence and self-belief while having lots of fun. 🏆 We are proud to have a 100% Distinction pass rate in our LAMDA examinations.
