No prior Minecraft knowledge is required, just a willingness to learn and explore. Whether your child is a complete beginner or already a budding Minecraft expert, our sessions are designed to stretch their abilities, spark their imagination & nurture a love for digital learning. Our Tech Xplorers weekly sessions are specially designed to spark children’s curiosity and develop their confidence with technology through fun, hands-on learning. Children get the chance to explore a wide range of digital skills in a supportive and structured environment. Each half-term features different themes and projects, so there’s always something new to learn and create. Rather than focusing on just one area, our sessions rotate through a range of topics. Delivered every Thursday or Saturday, these sessions cover an exciting variety of tech topics, some of which are; Coding – Learn the basics of programming using child-friendly languages such as Scratch, as well as more advanced tools like Python. Robotics – Build and programme real or virtual robots to complete fun challenges and tasks. Animation – Bring stories to life. Game Design – Design and develop your own games. Digital Creativity – 3D printing and electronics kit building.

We offer Advanced Xplorer sessions weekly on a Thursday evening designed specifically for young people aged 11 to 16 years with a passion for technology and digital creativity. These are open to complete beginners. These engaging, hands-on sessions provide the perfect environment for students to explore more advanced areas of computing in a supportive and inspiring setting. We delve into a variety of topics, helping learners broaden their knowledge and deepen their understanding. Some of the areas we explore include: Coding in Python – Learn one of the world’s most widely-used programming languages, ideal for automating tasks, building apps & creating games. Web Development – Get to grips with HTML and CSS Project Work – Build and develop your own digital projects. 3D Design & 3D Printing - Design digital models and from time to time, our very own 3D printer makes an appearance at the sessions giving students a chance to see their digital creations come to life.
