StageAbility's high-energy drama class for 5-6 year olds isn't just about fun and games – it's where young minds build the confidence, communication, and creative thinking skills they'll rely on for a lifetime. Our youngest actors join us for the first hour of the Junior class, from 5-6 pm, where they'll thrive in a supportive and exciting environment. Your child will explore imaginative play, play engaging drama games and learn simple acting techniques, with a sprinkle of movement and song. This class isn't just about acting; it's also about their social, emotional, and academic readiness.
Our Performers classes are all about singing, dancing and building confidence on stage. Students learn new songs and routines, develop their performance skills and have a great time each week in a friendly, supportive class. Open to all abilities, whether your child is new to performing or already loves being on stage. Students also have the opportunity to perform in our annual showcase each year.
Our Dance Technique classes are designed to help students build strong technical foundations in a supportive environment. Focusing on turns, jumps, kicks, flexibility, strength and control, these classes help dancers improve their technique, confidence and overall performance. Suitable for all abilities, it's the perfect class for students looking to develop their skills and support their progress across all styles of dance.
Our Pre School Performers classes are a fun introduction to singing, dancing and performing. Through music, movement, games and imaginative play, little ones build confidence, coordination and creativity in a warm, supportive environment. Designed especially for preschool children, these classes help develop social skills, listening and confidence while nurturing a love of performing. Parents or carers are required to remain in the building for the duration of the class.
Our LAMDA Acting classes give students the opportunity to develop their acting, communication and performance skills while working towards nationally recognised LAMDA Acting qualifications. Lessons focus on script work, character development and performance in a supportive environment, with exams available throughout the year. These classes are exclusively available to First Impressions students who are already enrolled in one of our weekly community classes.

Students learn the foundation steps in a different style of Street Dance per term, and then apply these foundation steps to combinations and dance routines. We aim to provide a way to keep fit, socialise with others, have fun and to gain a sense of achievement through offering our dance classes to beginners, intermediates and advanced dancers. Encourage your friends to join you in this fun, active and groovy way to end your school day!

StageAbility's drama class for ages 12-18 is a unique space where young people cultivate confidence and communication skills, especially beneficial for those who are shy and prefer process over performance. In our fun two-hour sessions, students will accelerate their drama skills, diving into advanced characterisation, physical theatre, and script work. We create a supportive environment where teens can explore their creativity, develop nuanced understanding of fellow humans, and develop their ability to articulate thoughts and feelings. This class is specifically designed to empower every individual, helping them to communicate with clarity, connect with others, and develop the resilience to navigate life's challenges, giving your teenager some powerful tools for the stage and for life!
Our Singing Tech class helps students find their voice and understand how to use it. We work on things like breathing, pitch, timing and control, all in a relaxed group setting that builds confidence without the pressure.

Our Company is our audition-only performance team for students who are ready to take their training to the next level. Members work on more challenging choreography, vocal work and performance pieces, while developing teamwork, confidence and strong performance skills. Company students represent First Impressions at performances and events throughout the year and are expected to show commitment, a positive attitude and a willingness to work hard. Membership is by audition and is available to students who are already enrolled in one of our weekly community classes.

For our Inter and Senior dancers, this class focuses on developing the strength, technique and alignment needed for future pointe work. Students will build foot, ankle and core strength in a supportive environment, preparing them for pointe work.

A street dance after school club for students of Knowl Hill CofE Academy. We run these clubs just like our community classes. Students learn a new street dance style each term, are included in our annual show and parent performance weeks. These classes are convenient, straight after school hours and allow you to know your child is in their familiar school setting with a coach approved by the school.
