Two hours of jazz training a week for children aged 8 to 11, in East Village, Stratford. The first hour is jazz: choreography, performance, and the routines they'll take to the show. The second is technique and conditioning — strength, flexibility, alignment, turns and jumps broken down properly, and the physical foundation that prevents injury as the work gets harder. That second hour is the difference between a child who can copy a routine and one who can actually dance. Most schools charge extra for it or don't offer it at all. Beginners are welcome — the technique hour is where they catch up fastest.
We run our bespoke Musical Theatre classes in your school. Fresh Arts Education works in schools across London and runs weekend theatre schools. Each week your children will have the chance to work with professional theatre artists to sing, dance and act at our reduced schools price. Participation in drama, dance and singing helps children to grow in confidence, improve their literacy and speaking skills, improve concentration and grow in creativity. Children who participate in the classes have lots of fun each week playing drama games, dancing, singing and being creative.

Our very popular LAMDA club runs on Wednesday lunchtimes. Pupils will learn techniques to enable them to be confident performers and communicators. All pupils will work on Acting or Public Speaking, pupils have the opportunity to take a LAMDA exam once per year, either at The Drama Centre HQ in Chelmsford in April - or in LAMDA HQ in West London in the summer. This club has been so popular that a waiting list is in place, please don't delay in booking. Higher grades obtain Duke of Edinburgh skills section credits and UCAS points. Available for years 3 - 6. Teachers will be given a list of pupils attending and sent to lunch early to eat before attending LAMDA club.

This session is for 7-9 year olds. Our Little Voices classes are designed to build confidence, communication and performance skills in a fun, friendly and supportive environment. Working in small groups of 10 or fewer, children explore singing, drama, characterisation, expression and script work, while learning how to work together as a cast. They’ll experience a range of theatre styles, develop fundamental acting techniques and learn healthy vocal habits to nurture their young voices. Each 45-minute lesson is engaging, varied and designed to develop skills week by week. All Little Voices pupils work towards recognised LAMDA exams, including group and/or solo work, and take at least one examination each academic year, giving them something exciting to work towards while building confidence and celebrating their progress.

This is our regular Young Flyers termly classes in Aerial Silks, hoop, slings and trapeze. Our Young Flyers programme offers classes in aerial hoop, aerial silks, aerial slings and static trapeze, giving young people aged between 7-16 years old the chance to get some airtime. We find children this age love being upside-down and our job is to enable them to play and learn while upside-down! Watching Week & Games Week Watching week is your chance to see what your Young & Teen Flyers have been up to this past term! You will be invited to the studio for the last 20 minutes of the class to watch a short performance, we will confirm details closer to the date and send out a reminder, but please pop this date in your diaries! Aerial games week is exactly what it sounds like, a fun reward for all the hard work they will put in this term, from obstacle courses to floor is lava, our instructors will have some fun treats in store!
