Musical theatre classes for children and teenagers aged 8 to 16 in East Village, Stratford. Songs from the shows, with the acting and the storytelling taken as seriously as the steps. We work on projection, character, staying in character while out of breath, and performing to an audience rather than at one. Our Mini Voices singing & drama classes are for children between the ages of 4-7 years old, and will introduce them to the performing arts in a fun & friendly way. Your child will benefit from being part of a very small group (10 or less) that we put together based on their friendships and ability, and this is where we’ll start to nurture their talents & focus on developing their confidence and communication skills. Each Mini Voices lesson lasts for 30 minutes and is thoughtfully designed to suit younger children’s concentration levels and learning needs, keeping sessions engaging, varied and lots of fun. Your child will enjoy the benefits of both singing and drama; and like all our Mini Voices pupils, they’ll work towards LAMDA’s Introductory Communication Exams, which will help them gain confidence & boost their communication skills. Preschool dance classes in Stratford for children aged 3 and 4, at Chobham Academy in East Village. Forty-five joyful minutes of movement, music and imagination — skipping, balancing, spinning, and a lot of pretending to be things. It builds coordination, listening, confidence and the ability to take turns, long before it looks like "proper" dance. No experience needed and none expected. Some children join in from minute one; some watch for three weeks and then never stop. Both are completely normal. Small groups, one familiar teacher every week, and a short show-and-tell for grown-ups at the end of term.

Filled with enchanted forests, icy palaces, magical creatures and a brave quest to save a friend, this exciting adventure will give children the chance to explore acting, movement and storytelling as they bring this classic tale to life on stage. Each child will have a named character, lines to learn, and the chance to try out for a role they’d love to play. All leading towards an end-of-term performance for parents to enjoy. Commercial and street dance classes for children aged 5 to 10 in Stratford, at Chobham Academy. The style they actually want to dance — sharp, current choreography to music they already know, taught properly rather than copied off a screen. Commercial builds a genuinely useful set of skills: picking up choreography fast, dancing in formation, and performing with attitude in front of people. It's also, reliably, where children who insist they "don't do dance" discover that they do. No experience needed. Trainers and comfortable clothes, and that's it.

Children's ballet classes in Stratford for ages 5 to 7, at Chobham Academy, E20. Proper classical foundations, taught with warmth. Posture, alignment, strength and grace — the technique that makes every other style of dance easier, and the reason ballet is where most dancers start. Our teaching is RAD-informed and our teachers trained at Trinity Laban, Performers College and beyond. But what your child will notice is that they get better at something every week, and that somebody notices. Complete beginners are welcome. Two class times a week — Thursday after school or Saturday in the afternoon.
