Students will improve their acting skills by exploring script work, devising, stagecraft, as well as screen acting skills. Being of an older age group, students will get a more detailed look into the techniques behind Acting and learn to create entertaining performances. This class is taught by Sean, who previously starred in River City. Students will have the chance to perform in two shows per year at an additional cost.

Tots Pretend develops key skills, such as empathy, looking after teddy when pretending to be doctor in our hospital or caring for animals in our pretend pet shop, encouraging children to consider what someone else would do. Children develop their motor skills jumping over crocodile infested waters or being on the bumper cars. Each week we become new characters, putting ourselves in other people’s shoes, capturing their imaginations as we explore new ‘surroundings’ in our pretend world.
