I have played the guitar for over 30 years and have taught for over 10 of those developing a great deal of passion and focus on various styles. You will find my lessons to be great fun while still being structured and informative and will be playing your favourite songs sooner than you thought possible. I have many regular students who have developed and flourished over time and have become competent guitarists; in fact one of my sons is now a successful guitarist and songwriter in his own right. Parents are very welcome to sit in on lessons and discuss their child's musical development and patience is always guaranteed.(DBS/CRB checked) Student ages have ranged from 8 to over 70 years of age and lessons are planned and structured around each student individually. I offer both Face to Face and High Quality HD Video lessons with supporting video and material in between lessons. Gift vouchers have proven very popular also - making excellent Birthday or Christmas presents for loved ones. As soon as your little one is walking confidently they are ready for LITTLE MUSIC STARS where the children learn how to move their bodies independently from their parents, learn shapes and objects from flashcards, experiment with phonic sounds and try out even beat rhythms with plenty of instruments. We also use puppets, scarves, parachutes, instruments, bubbles, colourful pictures a myriad of props which will encourage confidence and listening skills. We will introduce the children to themed sessions learning about the world around them through carefully constructed music, encouraging creativity and imagination. These include: The Jolly Jungle, Stars in Space, Rainbow Magic, Fun at the Farm, At the Beach, & new for 2024 Perfect Pets N.B This class is only suitable for children who are very confident walkers. Please still sign them up to the baby class if they have only just started walking! We will move them up mid term when they are super strong on their feet
