Little Crickets is a fast-moving, engaging programme that gives your child the perfect foundation for learning cricket skills in a way that feels exciting and age-appropriate. Through imaginative games and structured activities, children will begin to develop: Batting and bowling skills Throwing and catching technique Agility and coordination Balance and movement Confidence in a group setting We also focus on the athletic foundations that support all modern team sports — helping your child build physical confidence that will benefit them far beyond cricket. Parents, carers, and guardians are encouraged to join in on a 1:1 basis, making this a special shared experience while supporting your child’s learning and confidence. Parent & Tot Mini Crickets (18 months – 3.5 years) A fun, relaxed introduction to our Little Crickets class — specially designed for toddlers and their grown-ups to enjoy together! This session is all about being active, building confidence, and having lots of fun. With no pressure to follow specific skills, little ones can explore at their own pace in a supportive and playful environment. Children will enjoy plenty of free play with bats and balls of different shapes and sizes, helping them get comfortable with equipment while developing important early movement skills. We focus on core gross motor development and fundamental skills such as: Catching Throwing Running Balancing General movement and coordination Perfect for toddlers who are confidently walking (around 18 months) up to 3–3.5 years old.

Junior Crickets (5–8 Years) Building on the strong foundations developed in our younger sessions, Junior Crickets helps children take the next exciting step in their cricket journey. These sessions introduce more game-based learning, allowing children to develop a deeper understanding of how cricket is played — while still keeping everything fun, active and engaging. Children will continue to develop: Batting, bowling and fielding skills Throwing and catching technique Game awareness and decision-making Teamwork and communication Confidence and coordination Both technical skills and simple tactical understanding are introduced in age-appropriate ways and brought to life through simple skill-based games . Our focus is always on maximising participation so every child is involved, learning and enjoying themselves in a fun, supportive environment.
