Signing Toddlers Autumn 2026 - Mothership Hub

Signing Toddlers explores new vocabulary through signing, music and activities. Signing Toddlers is aimed at 15-30months (or earlier if walking) Walkers upwards. As your child begins to develop speech and discover new words, Signing Toddlers explores and focuses on new key vocabulary to encourage their budding communication skills. Learning new signs to increase your child’s word bank as their world grows around them. Our Signing for Toddlers classes give you the opportunity to expand on vocabulary through puppets, songs, fun activities and bubbles. We cover listening and turn-taking skills, emotional vocabulary, and much more. Each session is based on a theme and this is built on week by week. This means you not only learn some essential signs during an entertaining class with your baby, but you will see a wide variety of BSL signs through the course that can stick with you for life! Annabel I am really excited to be bringing Signing Babies classes, that focus on BSL signs, to Devon. I am passionate about sharing these signs with both babies and adults, encouraging early communication and a lifelong skill. I have a now 2 year old daughter who loves using her signs. communicate what she wanted, for example around meal times. I also found her frustration reduced as a result of signing, as she was able to communicate before speech. Her speech came on early, and she is now a fantastic communicator verbally, and she loves to sign alongside! I am currently BSL Level 1, and am training BSL Level 2 alongside teaching, keen to keep learning myself. I have been running Signing Babies and teaching Early years since September 2024 and I absolutely love it. I have seen babies develop their first signs and communicate for the first time on many occasions already, and it brings me so much joy.
