The centre was established in 2005, and was started by Instructor Yumna Joubeily, who still runs it to this day.

The current age range of students at the centre is from four to 15 years old, with pupils grouped according to ability, although Kumon caters for children of all ages and abilities.

there are ten assistants that are trained to give students the best support in their learning and are at each table in the study centre.

The centre offers exceptional family friendly, professional service, meeting the needs of each child and with emphasis on academic achievement for each individual.

The unique Kumon Maths and English Programmes pursue the potential of each child by developing confident, independent learners through individualised, advanced study.

Kumon should not be considered a traditional tuition provider as, rather than ‘teaching’ students, we encourage them to become independent learners who feel confident in their own abilities and able to face unfamiliar work.
