Families come to the Kumon Chessington Study Centre looking for maths and English tuition for their children and are delighted to find that we provide so much more than just core study fundamentals! We pride ourselves on going beyond traditional tutoring and offer unique study programmes that help students develop into independent, confident children through individualised, advanced study. The youngest student currently at the centre is a preschooler and the oldest students are in year 11, working towards their GCSEs. Our team are well-trained and highly motivated, conscious of their roles in and contributions to the progress of the children studying at the centre. The centre is located at the Hook Parish Hall, a huge, spacious hall with a waiting area for parents. It is next to the King Edward’s Recreation Ground, an excellent place for younger siblings to play when the weather is good. The library in the Hook Centre is also just a five-minute walk away, making it a convenient place for children to borrow books from to help them discover the beautiful world of reading. We are here to provide guidance, support and encouragement to children and nurture them into confident, happy and enthusiastic learners.
