Education has been my passion for over 20 years. Throughout my career as a teacher and cover teacher in both state and independent schools, I have always believed that the true purpose of education is to develop independent learners who have the confidence, resilience, and skills to succeed.

The Kumon approach to nurturing independent learners perfectly reflects my teaching values. As Kumon says, “Every child can learn and progress at their own pace,” and this belief guides everything we do.
At Kumon Acton Central study centre, we aim to help children build strong academic foundations, develop problem-solving skills, and become confident, self-motivated learners through small-step worksheets and personalised guidance. My goal is not only to support children in improving their academic abilities but also to encourage focus, perseverance, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.
Acton is a wonderful and vibrant community, and I feel privileged to support local families through our classes at St Mary’s Church. I look forward to creating a welcoming and supportive learning environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential and develop the confidence and skills they need to succeed.
