study plan can be made to allow the student to build on their current skills. They then complete our worksheets, where they are guided through example questions and contextual clues. This method of learning offers more than traditional tuition: it nurtures your child’s independence, helping them to develop strong self-learning skills and gain the tools to help them excel in the future. Because Kumon does not follow any national curriculum and work is set according to ability, irrespective of age, our programmes allow learners to fill in any missing gaps in their study foundations as well as giving them the opportunity to work ahead of their school grade level. Kumon caters for children as young as three, up to sixth form or college. For each class visit, a child studying one subject will be at the centre for approximately 30 minutes, and a student studying both will be at the centre for approximately 60 minutes.
