Wednesday 3.45pm to 5.15pm - Online Class Only The centre was established in 1995. The current age range of students at the centre is four to 16 years old, however, Kumon is suitable for all ages and abilities. Many students at the centre have gone onto gain scholarships, pass entrance exams, go on to study A-level maths and go on to use the skills they have learnt at Kumon in further education.

Whilst in the centre, children will be observed, guided and if necessary, helped with their work. There are five excellent assistants at the centre who work alongside the Instructor to help mark and assist with these aspects of class.

The unique Kumon Maths and English Programmes pursue the potential of each child by developing confident, independent learners through individualised, advanced study. Kumon should not be considered a traditional tuition provider as, rather than ‘teaching’ students, we encourage them to become independent learners who feel confident in their own abilities and able to face unfamiliar work.
