Welcome to the Kumon Chelsfield Study Centre. This centre opened in 2009 and offers supplementary maths and English programmes for children of all ages and abilities. The typical age of students range between three and 16. Students from Private as well as State owned Pre-school, Primary and Secondary schools are enrolled at the centre. them. They along with their senior assistants provide an excellent support structure, personal attention and feedback to help the students get the best from the supplementary education. The unique Kumon Maths and English Programmes pursue the potential of each child by developing confident, independent learners through individualised, advanced study. Kumon should not be considered a traditional tuition provider as, rather than ‘teaching’ students, we guide and encourage them to become independent learners who feel confident in their own abilities and able to study unfamiliar work. The programme also helps in developing the necessary building blocks of concentration, accuracy and time management needed to face the challenges of competitive entrance examinations. These skills are transferable and in the early years are the building blocks for their journey through various competitive exams like 11+ and the preparation for them. The centre benefits from sufficient, unrestricted free off street parking. A welcoming reception staff exchanges Kumon worksheets and answers queries from the parents.
