There is an excellent team of assistants at the centre, who are regularly trained so as to enable them to do their best for the children. They work closely with the students and join the Instructor in observing and assessing every student at the centre and providing feedback.

Unlike the process of a traditional tuition provider, Kumon encourages students to take their learning into their own hands. The role of the Kumon Instructor is to provide guidance, support and encouragement, allowing the student to develop their own independent learning strategies.
