through worksheets just at the right level for each child. No two kids are reviewed and assessed the same even though they may both come from the same school, year group and age instead each child is assessed and progressed at their own pace whilst maintaining and building upon each child’s ability, speed and stamina.

Working at the centre will be one Instructor together with one to three assistants. The whole team is very passionate to bring the best out of every child and will work with the child using their utmost skill and ability. The team is fully DBS checked and has a lot of empathy both towards the child and the parent/guardian.

Unlike the process of a traditional tuition provider, Kumon encourages students to take their learning into their own hands. The role of the Kumon Instructor is to provide guidance, support and encouragement, allowing the student to develop their own independent learning strategies and ways of working smarter.
