The unique Kumon Maths and English Programmes pursue the potential of each child by developing confident, independent learners through individualised, advanced study.

Unlike the process of a traditional tuition provider, Kumon encourages students to take their learning into their own hands. The role of the Kumon Instructor is to provide guidance, support and encouragement, allowing the student to develop their own independent learning strategies.

youngest student currently studying at the centre is three years old and the oldest is 17 years old, however Kumon is for students of all ages and abilities.

There are a team of seven to eight class assistants that work at the study centre alongside the Instructor. Many of the assistants are A-Level students and some have studied the Kumon programmes. The assistants support the Instructor and the students with maths and English, oral reading, times table practice and working with early learners.
