majority of students live in the Fenham area, many travel from areas such as West Denton, Elswick and Westerhope, and other surrounding areas. Unlike the process of a traditional tuition provider, Kumon encourages students to take their learning into their own hands. The role of the Kumon Instructor is to provide guidance, support and encouragement, allowing the student to develop their own independent learning strategies. Note: The Instructor at this centre speaks fluent Bengali and understands Urdu.
