The Kumon Hatfield Study Centre opened in 2008, offering maths and English programmes to students of all ages and abilities.

Children work quietly on their work, taking 15-20 minutes per subject. Work is also taken home to be returned on the next visit when it is checked and recorded. knowledge in maths and English whilst becoming confident, independent, self-learners.

Students on the English programme also read text aloud. Maths students are tested on their arithmetic skills. At the end of each level an achievement test is taken and a report on the result is sent home.

Students are given regular feedback on their progress in class. Every year we hold an Awards Ceremony where we celebrate our students' achievements, give awards and motivate students to be ambitious in their learning.
