The Kumon Brigg Study Centre opened in 1997 and is now well established in North Lincolnshire.

The unique Kumon Maths and English programmes pursue the potential of each child by developing confident, independent learners through individualised, advanced study.

The youngest student currently studying at the centre is five years old and the oldest is 15. However, Kumon is available to students of all ages and abilities.

is supported by six class assistants, of which two are previous Kumon students and one is still studying the Kumon programmes. The assistants support with the marking and recording of students’ work, working with newly-enrolled students and early learners, supplementary activities such as using the numberboards and listening to students read.

We have a notice board in our waiting area that provides up-to-date class news for parents as well as serving as a motivational tool to encourage students to complete their work on a daily basis. In addition, the Instructor sends a monthly newsletter to all students’ parents telling them about the students’ progress and any other news about the centre.
