Welcome to the Southampton, Shirley Study Centre.

The unique Kumon maths and English Study Programmes pursue the potential of each child, developing their ability and nurturing their independence.

At the centre, the children are observed and instructed in their completion of their daily work. Children can verbally practice their times tables and we also encourage all children to read widely. We have a selection of books that they can choose from

We operate a time slotting system for parents to regularly bring their children. This enables us to provide a calm and organised environment at the centre where effective learning can occur.

Children attend for up to 30 minutes per subject up to twice a week. Using a positive and friendly approach, we foster an expectation that all children can achieve their potential when encouraged and supported appropriately.
